Choosing a place to live can be a daunting task.

From buying a house, reviewing the community and finding employment opportunities, a lot goes into making this important decision.

But thanks to 24/7 Wall St., you can now add Peoria, Arizona to your list of consideration.

In order to find which American cities were the best to live in, they reviewed data on the 550 U.S. cities with populations of 65,000 or more as measured by the U.S. Census Bureau.

After looking at various variables including crime rates, employment growth, and housing affordability, 24/7 Wall St. identified Peoria as the seventh-best city to live in America.

In their findings, 24/7 Wall St. identifies the climate and housing costs, which are 14% less expensive in Peoria than they are on average nationwide, as key reasons people are attracted to the city.

Peoria is the only Arizona city to make the top 50 cities. For a complete breakdown of the full list, read the report on Yahoo Finance.
